Safety and Environmental Specialist Immediate Hiring Need!  Full time, $60-65K + generous benefits plan We are a global manufacturer of office and consumer products.  We are seeking candidates for the position of Safety & Environmental Specialist!!!   The Safety & Environmental Specialist will utilize comprehensive knowledge of company safety and/or environmental policies, procedures, and regulations to ensure compliance.   Responsibilities - Coordinate with environmental scientists, engineers, hazardous waste specialists and               other experts in law and business to address safety/environmental issues. - Reviews test results and makes recommendations for modifications as necessary. - Conducts safety and/or environmental testing to monitor workplace safety, occupational              health, and environmental hazards  - Prepares, reviews, and updates safety/environmental reports and  - Recommends corrective actions to prevent future issues. - Plans, permits, and standard operating procedures in relation to safety and              environmental impacts. - Inspects industrial and municipal facilities  - Maintains safety/environmental documentation - Investigates accidents, production processes working conditions and concerns to              determine compliance with applicable regulatory requirements - Work with safety and/or environmental data to ensure compliance with federal and state              regulatory agencies such as OSHA/VOSH, EPA/VDEQ, and DOT/PHMSA   Qualifications - Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Science, Occupation Safety, or Bio/Chem/Physics - 3-5 years experience in Safety and Environment Compliance - Knowledge of safety and environmental issues (OHSA, EPA, NFPA) - Certified in HAZWOPER   ***Veterans are encourage to apply***
