Laser Field Service Technician As a Field Service Technician, you will comine your skills within customer service, and the mechanical and electrical knowledge to repair, troubleshoot, modify and test complex technical problems on machining products. Extensive travel within a set geographical area is required and occasional travel throughout North America. The services are provided on-site at our customer’s facilities and via telephone if the situation permits. IMMEDIATE NEED with an established U.S. based industry leader--you will work as a part of a well trained field service team with an AMAZING boss.    DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: - Installs, services or repairs mechanical and electronic equipment at the customer's site, our manufacturing sites, or sales and service offices.   - Utilizes hand tools and test equipment to perform work. - Discusses with engineering problems relating to maintenance or operation of equipment. - Field train customers. - Performs in house phone troubleshooting support to customers. - Supports sales for product demonstrations. - Provides a range of known solutions to problems. - Innovates on the fly to resolve new and unique problems.  - May be asked to cover after hours phone troubleshooting. - Will be asked to travel extensively, Monday-Friday. Weekends off. - Build and maintain customer relationships. - Performs other duties as assigned by manager.   QUALIFICATIONS: - Electro-mechanical training and practical experience. - Require minimal direct supervision. - Organizational skills. - Microsoft Outlook and Excel knowledge. - Ability to accurately and effectively communicate problems and suggest possible solutions. - Will require travel weekdays up to 80-100% of the time.
