Must have hands on experience in the maintenance and support of mechanical or electronic components, which operate in a technical or manufacturing setting. Related experience can include; production line mechanic, line electrician, packaging machinery engineer, and general field technician responsible for product installation, support and repairs. - Must have knowledge of electronic engineering experience; working with circuitry and troubleshooting electrical components to the board level, drilling / mounting in various materials. Experience with wiring, wiring harnesses and terminating. Experienced in the installation of electronic-mechanical machinery or optics equipment is ideal. - Must understand and interpret schematic diagrams, understand electrical symbols, terminology, calculate voltage and circuit flow. Be responsible and confident when installing sensitive electronic hardware, software and OEM equipment. - Be familiar with software programming. Programming / writing code is not a requirement, some knowledge of C++ coding or line level programming is a plus. - Must have some experience with IT Networking. Be familiar working with networking hardware, IP processes / connectivity, networking communications. IP addressing, identifying domains, routers, cables, switches, etc. Desired Skills and Experience:   Candidates should have 5 – 7 years of work experience in the installing, repairing, troubleshooting electronics, automated packaging or manufacturing machinery. Related industrial engineering and electronics experience will be considered.   Veterans with formal military training and electronic repair experience are encouraged to apply.   Any combination of related studies and work experience will be considered. Education:    Applicants must provide a diploma or certificate(s) from a recognized school, university or technical program; related to an applied science, electronics, and mechanical, electro-mechanical engineering or similar related field. Bachelors, Diploma/Certificate in degree in Electronic Engineering, Electronics or related field is a plus.    Military training and certifications fully considered. Military experience, training or certifications are welcome, and considered equal.    Language Requirements:    All Field Technicians must be able to clearly speak and write in English. Secondary language skills are highly desired. Field Technicians with the ability to deliver customer training in Spanish or Portuguese is a major plus. Clear communication and professional presentation skills are essential.    Travel Requirements:   This position requires frequent and extended travel. All candidates must be prepared, ready and available to travel 3 weeks per month. Weekend over-stays may be required when installations exceed 5 business days. All Field Technicians must be able to travel freely between the US and Canada by commercial airline. Required Training Period: 4-6 weeks of paid hands-on training in Quebec City, QC. Canada. New hires are then required to complete 6-8 weeks of shadowing assignments for on-the job training.   All new hires are required to pass progressive technical tests and skill based functional tests throughout the entire training period. All applicants must pass a Technical Skills Test, prior to advancing to the Skype based technical interview. Machine Assembler/Field Service Technician   - The technican will begin in assembly in order to learn and gain hands-on knowledge of company equipment.   Fully assemble and test-run machines, parts assemblies and related equipment.   Disassemble, prepare and crate parts and equipment for shipment to customers per company packaging standards.   Design, weld, machine, and fabricate parts as necessary. Document work and communicate with the Engineering department to ensure prints are drawn.   Reorders parts needed through Parts Coordinator or Materials Manager when necessary.   Photograph machines, complete check lists and document all information relating to each machine.   Travel periodically to customers for installation and/or service of company machine--up to two (2) weeks per machine.   Gain a working knowledge of basic electronic functions of the machines, as well as understanding basic PLC and servo functions; be able to modify programs as needed to improve performance of equipment.   Route parts to other departments in the factory as necessary.   Ensure and maintain safety and cleanliness of work area by performing housekeeping duties daily.   Provide verbal/written feedback to appropriate member regarding engineering, manufacturing and/or routing problems with parts and/or equipment.   Work overtime when scheduled by supervisor.   Perform and cross train on various positions as required.   Complete appropriate paperwork.   Meet daily production requirements.   Help when QC Department requires additional assistance due to production demands.

It is also important that you display excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to serve effectively as the liaison between customers and our organization   Specific qualifications for this role include: - 3-8 years industrial maintenance experience, preferably in a role that required significant travel - Exceptional customer service skills - Willingness to travel approximately 80% of the time - Project a confident and professional attitude - Ability to identify opportunities to help the customer and their business - Spanish language skills, a plus - Advanced technical degree in electronics or mechanical repair, a plus

· Diagnose and repair, or commission, electro-hydraulic components or systems at customer sites. May be responsible for system/machine design on site may include material fabrication, assembly and modification of equipment on site assignments will be both short-and-long term, work may be performed at domestic or international customer facilities. · Evaluate and identify potential new business at customer sites. · As a representative, communicate professionally and effectively with customers, employees of the company, and/or sub-contractors, in an occasionally stressful environment. · Prepare detailed field service reports on computer. Reports will include daily records of work performed, materials used, hours worked, expense account items, etc. · Perform work on inside service repairs when not working on field assignments. · Participate in ongoing training for new products and technologies.   Requirements ·         Thorough working knowledge of hydraulic components (i.e. Pumps, motors, prop valves, logic valves, accumulators, filters, etc.) ·         Thorough working knowledge of Electrical components (i.e. Motors, motor controls, relays, transformers, etc.) ·         Ability to interpret and analyze hydraulic and electrical schematics. ·         Ability to work in difficult physical and stressful situations for extended periods of time. ·         Ability to work independently and handle multiple assignments. ·         Working knowledge of computer and Microsoft Office softare.  Ability to learn field data acquisition equipment. ·         Excellent organizational and communication skills required.   Travel  ·         Able to travel 70% to domestic and international customer sites, with little or no advance notice. Work overtime as necessary to complete project.   Experience & Education  ·         Associates Degree in Electronics, Mechatronics, or Industrial Automation from an accredited institution (ex. CHEA), or comparable training and experience. ·         Three to five years of hands on experience with hydraulic systems, in both hydraulic and electronic capacity.
