Pay:

$75k+ total annual compensation (w/ per diem)

Guaranteed 40 hours a week

Paid while traveling to and from home/work sites

$300 stipend if asked to work on a scheduled off day
Shift:

Week 1: Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday

Week 2: Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday

4 day weekend, every other weekend

Travel can be windshield or by air (some overnight travel may be 10 consecutive days)

Immediate Hiring Need for a Field Service Technician
Full Time position $65-75K
We are looking for an electromechanical Field Service Technician with outstanding customer service ability to join our expanding company in Appleton, WI. This position would require the Technician to be located in Appleton, WI. We are a technology-driven equipment manufacturer in alternative energy markets. We are looking for someone who has the ability to perform field installation and maintenance of industrial equipment for new and existing customers. This job will require international travel and 50% travel is required.
Responsibilities
- Travels to customer facilities globally for supervising equipment installation, start-up, and troubleshooting equipment problems.
- Troubleshoot causes of failures, malfunctions, and recommends and implements corrective actions
- Quality assurance of finished machinery prior to shipping
- Final inspection of machinery
- Develops and implements a customer training program sufficient to assure continued production and customer satisfaction after a field technician leaves the customer site.
- Will perform the assembly of new products, as required.
- Equipment operation at national and international trade shows.
Qualifications
- Associate degree in Electro-Mechanical Technology or equivalent experience
- Electrical systems and electrical troubleshooting experience.
- Mechanical aptitude
- Customer service
- Willingness to travel globally with extended visits up to three weeks possible
