GENERAL SUMMARY:  Expert trouble shooter and equipment repair person for all types of plant/production electrical and mechanical equipment.  Work from general assignment and proceed with minimum supervision and direction.  This level of work requires education and experience with all types of electrical and mechanical service skills.  Teaches and/or advises subordinates about how or what to do to make repairs.  Work from complicated drawings and specifications.  Use a variety of precision measuring instruments for exacting measurements.  Apprenticeship, Associate Degree, or equivalent training plus considerable experience is required to perform work.     ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS include the following.
