Large Industrial Food (or other) Equipment.   Project Engineer   Position Summary Reporting to the Engineering Manager, the Project Engineer is responsible for the technical aspects of projects to supply large capital food processing equipment to customers. The project engineer acts as the customer's primary technical interface in conjunction with sales, project management, and the service group to ensure equipment meets expectations. The project engineer leads teams of one to five skilled design engineers and provides guidance on component specifications, equipment sizing, detailed design specifications, etc.   Job Responsibilities Include - Design of industrial food processing and packaging equipment models in Autodesk Inventor 3D. - Drafting of equipment layout/installation drawings, piping and instrumentation drawings, and process flow diagrams in AutoCAD 2D. - Review of customer specifications, commercial documents, and internal standards documentation to determine scope of project supply. - Organize and participate in peer review meetings to generate and review Risk Assessments. - Sizing of mechanical and powertrain components (shafts, bearings, sprockets, gearboxes). - Sizing of heat transfer and fluid flow components (valves, pumps, burners, Heat Exchangers). - Specification of purchased components (sensors and switches). - Monitor design and customer drawing release schedules to ensure project is not delayed. - Support equipment fabrication progress through our factory; we have a full machine shop, sheet metal shop with laser and waterjet, and welding assembly shop. - Work with our field service group to support equipment installation, start-up, and commissioning. - Mobility as required to review equipment during construction and during commissioning offsite. Occasional travel to customer facilities for meetings and equipment troubleshooting. - Occasional overtime work may be required. Required Education and Experience - BSME or B.S. in Food Engineering. - 6+ years of CAD experience including 3-D modeling and drafting. - Experience with FEA and CFD modeling a plus. - Knowledge of design and manufacturability (DFM). - Experience in food processing equipment is a plus, but analytical ability is most important. - Proficient in Microsoft Office. - Experience working in SAP is preferred.

IMMEDIATE NEED!!!  MUST BE WILLING TO RELOCATE NORTH OF DENVER, CO     Engineer (Electrical) focused on Solar Inverter Sustaining Programs Our client, a leader in solar equipment maintainability, seeks an Electrical Engineer (or other related engineering) to join their team. The purpose of this role is to perform field support and sustaining engineering activities for several thousand fielded central photovoltaic inverters. This position will be based just north of Denver, CO. The successful candidate will be a hands-on, electrical engineering professional with power electronics and PV inverter experience who is energized and stimulated by progressive technical proficiency and growth. We are looking for a candidate who is organized, communicates well, and requires minimal supervision. This is a technical contributor position. - Provide daily field support engineering to troubleshoot inverter maintenance and repair activities. Log file analysis. - Work with procurement in qualifying suppliers, defining special requirements, testing, and processes verification and validation. - Sustaining engineering to qualify and document mechanical and electronic changes. - Equivalency analysis and testing with report Selection of second source components and changes to PCBAs. - Update design documentation impacted by change, including component specifications, component and assembly drawings, test requirements, and - Test and diagnose issues with high power PV inverters containing digital & analog electronic assemblies and transformer, inductor, and high frequency switching sections. - Program and test development for programmable PCBAs with existing firmware using JTAG and FPGA tools. - Download existing firmware and software to PV inverters through TCP/IP communication Test PV inverter communications TCP/IP and Modbus networks. - Provide regular status of work and open Able to work alone or on teams that may be located remotely. - Occasional travel to PV inverter sites and to support consulting, troubleshooting and repair.  Required Qualifications: - Bachelor’s degree in any Engineering discipline, preferably Electrical - Highly proficient in the use of complex instruments and equipment (DMM, Oscilloscopes, Quality Power Meters, Data Acquisition Units).
