Pressure Equipment Compliance Inspector (Trainee)

Salary: $70,000–$80,000 + Full Benefits + Company Vehicle Training provided to earn State Certificate of Competency & National Board “A” Endorsement

Veterans Prime has a client who is in need of Inspectors to join their U.S based Engineering Team! This position is a full-time permanent opportunity with excellent benefits, company vehicle and paid time off.

 

Our client specializes in providing on-location services that verify the quality and conformance of pressure equipment when it is being manufactured, erected and/or repaired. The work of the Inspection and Engineering Services personnel is focused on the beginning of the life cycle.

  • Services include:
  • Review and acceptance of Job Packages
  • In-process Inspections
  • Monitoring of Quality Control System
  • Witnessing final Hydrostatic Test
  • Review and signing of required forms

This field-based position is an integral part to the commitment and to the quality and service our client provides for their customers and to their equipment. The work varies from day to day and is ideally suited to a self-motivated individual who can work independently. A successful inspector will have excellent communications skills and the ability to work with clients and customers in a professional manner with high integrity.

If you are hired, you will have to meet certain requirements to qualify for AI/RI exams and commission qualifications. Once you meet the criteria you will have to pass the State Competency and National Board of Boiler and Pressure Vessel Inspectors Commission with an "A" Endorsement.
