Industrial Electrician – Immediate Hiring Need

Compensation: $80K–$90K base + overtime opportunities

Schedule: Full‑time, supporting 24/7 industrial operations

 

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Industrial Electrician to support plant operations through electrical maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of industrial equipment. This position is hands‑on, fast‑paced, and essential to maintaining safe and reliable production. While you may occasionally interact with control systems, this role is 90% electrical with minimal programming exposure.

 

Responsibilities

  • Perform installation, maintenance, and repair of industrial electrical systems, including motors, drives, power distribution equipment, and plant wiring.

  • Troubleshoot electrical issues using strong knowledge of AC/DC motors, circuits, relays, sensors, and industrial power systems.

  • Inspect, test, and maintain electrical components using multimeters, meggers, and other diagnostic tools.

  • Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation.

  • Support preventive and predictive maintenance programs to reduce downtime.

  • Assist with basic control system tasks (approx. 10% of role), such as replacing components or supporting technicians—no programming required.

  • Follow all electrical safety standards, including NFPA‑70E and lockout/tagout procedures.

  • Collaborate with maintenance and operations teams to ensure equipment reliability across shifts.

Qualifications

  • Associate degree in Electrical Technology, Industrial Maintenance, or related field; OR equivalent military/technical training; OR 1+ year of industrial electrical experience.

  • Strong understanding of electrical theory, industrial equipment, and troubleshooting methods.

  • Ability to work from technical drawings, manuals, and schematics.

  • Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment with rotating shifts and overtime as needed.

  • Proven ability to diagnose issues, work independently, and maintain a high standard of safety.
