Are you a skilled Electromechanical Technician ready for a challenging and rewarding career opportunity? Our client, a premier supplier in the essential medical industry, is looking for a dedicated Field Service Technician to be the face of their brand.

 

This role is not just a job—it's a chance to use your expertise to ensure critical medical equipment is running flawlessly. You will manage local travel to customer sites, where you will install, maintain, and service cutting-edge equipment, all while building strong relationships and delivering world-class customer service.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Troubleshoots and diagnoses equipment malfunctions using test instruments
  • Measures and adjusts instrumentation using calibration tools
  • Installs, modifies and repairs company equipment and/or 3rd party equipment
  • Prioritize customer needs - provide preventative maintenance with daily repairs
  • Provide education and training to customers regarding equipment
  • Maintain and stock work vehicle with relevant tools and equipment
  • Promotes and maintains good customer relations through high standards of professionalism, ethical behavior, maturity and good judgment

 

Requirements:

  • Technical Foundation: A minimum of 3-5 years of professional experience in an electromechanical field, OR equivalent military training and service.
    • Military veterans with relevant electromechanical MOS are highly encouraged to apply! We recognize the superior training and discipline veterans bring.
    • Relevant civilian and military experience includes, but is not limited to:
      • Field Service Technician, Industrial Maintenance Technician, HVAC Technician, Generator Technician.
      • Instrument Technician, Controls Technician.
      • Military MOS examples: Navy Cryogenic Technician, Navy Fire Controlman, Navy Nuclear Machinist Mate, Navy Nuclear ET, MRAP & Wheeled Mechanic, and other electromechanical MOSs.
  • Core Technical Skills:
    • Proven, hands-on experience (3-5 years) with wiring and controls.
    • Proficiency in using electrical testing equipment.
    • The ability to confidently read and interpret electrical schematics and blueprints.
  • Professional Readiness:
    • General computer proficiency and comfort utilizing modern technology and applications for reporting and communication.
    • High school diploma or equivalent.
    • Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record (required for local travel).
