About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Calibration Specialist to join a great team servicing client companies across the state of Florida. In this role, you will be responsible for performing precise calibrations, repairs, and documentation of measurement equipment used across various industries including Aerospace, Marine & Cruise Ships, and Municipal Services. This is a full-time, permanent position offering a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform calibrations on a variety of measurement instruments, with a focus on gas detection systems

  • Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair equipment as needed

  • Maintain accurate calibration records and documentation in compliance with company and industry standards

  • Develop and refine calibration procedures and protocols

  • Stay current on industry trends, standards, and best practices

  • Lead, train, and mentor junior calibration technicians

  • Identify and support opportunities for business expansion

 

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; technical degree or certification in calibration or a related field preferred (Military Experience is Welcomed)

  • Minimum of 5 years of hands-on calibration experience

  • Strong understanding of calibration techniques, tools, and industry standards

  • Proficiency with calibration software and related equipment

  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills

  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving capabilities

  • Ability to work independently and collaborate within a team environment

  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills

 

Military PMEL/TMDE/DOD training or equivalent experience is highly desirable.
