Immediate Hiring Need for 

an Electromechanical Field Service Technician

 

Are you a skilled troubleshooter with a passion for travel? We’re seeking an experienced technician to join our team. As part of our global company, you’ll play a crucial role in the installation and refurbishment of industrial equipment. If you’re ready for a dynamic challenge, read on!

 

Responsibilities:  

  • Install and start up after-market service products
  • Troubleshoot control systems, hydraulic, mechanical, pneumatic, electrical, and electronic components, including PLCs
  • Handle pump and motor installations
  • Perform hydraulic seal resealing on clamp and injection units
  • Calibrate and fine-tune machines for optimal performance
  • Utilize reference materials (manuals, drawings, procedures) to solve machine problems
  • Repair or replace components on machinery, robots, and product handling equipment
  • Foster strong customer relations with internal resources for effective service
  • Provide telephone support to customer maintenance staff
  • Instruct service technicians and customer operators on injection molding system maintenance and safe operation

 

Qualifications:

  • Mechanical and electrical proficiency with knowledge of assembly techniques and fine-calibrated measuring instruments
  • Ability to interpret blueprints and schematics for troubleshooting electrical, electronic, hydraulic, and mechanical systems 
  • Systematic problem-solving skills.
  • Machine leveling expertise, including adjustments for nozzle concentricity, platen parallelism, and tie-bar stretch 


Travel:

  • 2 weeks Traveling/1 week at home
  • Some International travel 
  • Occasional weekend work during travel
