Project Manager – Home Construction

Location: Havelock, NC

Job Type: Full-Time (Monday-Friday, occasional Saturdays)

We are seeking a skilled and hands-on Project Manager to oversee residential construction projects from start to finish. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership abilities, extensive construction knowledge, and the willingness to be actively involved in daily site operations. This position requires a proactive individual who can coordinate teams, ensure project timelines are met, and maintain high-quality standards in craftsmanship.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage all phases of residential construction projects, ensuring timely completion and adherence to budget.
  • Oversee site operations, including coordinating contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers.
  • Provide hands-on support when necessary to address technical construction challenges.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations, building codes, and industry standards.
  • Maintain strong communication with clients, updating them on project progress and addressing concerns.
  • Develop schedules, track milestones, and resolve issues to prevent project delays.
  • Foster teamwork, provide leadership, and mentor site personnel.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in residential construction project management.
  • Strong knowledge of building materials, construction techniques, and safety protocols.
  • Ability to lead teams effectively and problem-solve in fast-paced environments.
  • Hands-on approach with willingness to step in when needed.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in project scheduling and management software is a plus.
