Full Time/Excellent Benefits Package

6:00 AM-4:00PM

 

Position Location: Wichita, KS (sign on bonus provided-relocation required)

Total Compensation: $110-130K

 

As a Production Manager, you'll take charge of a significant portion of the plant’s daily operations, driving improvements in productivity and business metrics. 

 

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and mentor Production Supervisors, fostering accountability, growth, and continuous improvement.
  • Ensure production schedules meet customer demands while maintaining high standards for safety, quality, and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with leadership and engineering teams to implement Lean manufacturing practices and drive productivity enhancements.
  • Monitor daily, weekly, and monthly performance metrics, ensuring budgetary goals are achieved.
  • Lead the development and execution of annual operating budgets and financial plans.
  • Promote adherence to safety rules, ISO-9000 standards, and quality assurance protocols.
  • Motivate and train personnel, instilling a sense of responsibility and tracking progress through evaluations.

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree with 6+ years of experience as a Production Supervisor in a high-volume industrial manufacturing environment OR Associate degree with 8+ years of similar experience OR equivalent education and experience in military setting.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Expertise in Lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and 5S methodologies.
  • A demonstrated track record of driving productivity and process improvements in high-complexity manufacturing environments.
  • Experience managing and leading in a production environment
  • EPA Universal Refrigerant Certification
  • Experience supporting plant KPIs and Shop Floor Management objectives,
  • including safety, quality, delivery, cost, and productivity.
  • Experience being a change agent, assisting with large initiatives and driving

change in a production environment
