Immediate Hiring Need for a Maintenance Technician
Pay Range: $28–$35+/hr (DOE)
Hours: 40–50 hours per week, with 40 hours guaranteed (Monday–Friday), occasional weekend work can be required
Are you ready to put your mechanical and electrical expertise to use in a hands-on, dynamic environment? We specialize in industrial lifting solutions, providing OSHA-compliant inspections, maintenance, repairs, and aftermarket services for electromechanical hoists.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform OSHA compliance inspections, preventive maintenance, and repairs on hoists
- Diagnose, recondition, and service both electrical and mechanical lifting equipment
- Work in diverse environments, including heights, extreme temperatures, and noisy locations (this role involves physical tasks such as standing, walking, sitting, and lifting 50–100 lbs)
- Communicate safety concerns or major discrepancies to customers
- Maintain positive, professional relationships with customers and team members to ensure excellent customer service
Qualifications
- Strong mechanical and electrical background preferred (candidates with experience as Aviation Technicians or Machinist Mates often excel in this role)
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills, with the ability to work independently
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record;
- Personal hand tools and a meter required
Not Required but Preferred
- Previous experience as a crane technician
- Familiarity with federal, state, and local codes for overhead lifting equipment
