Overview

Immediate Hiring Need for a Crane Technician

Pay Range: $28–$35+/hr (DOE)

Hours: 40–50 hours per week, with 40 hours guaranteed (Monday–Friday), occasional weekend work can be required

We specialize in industrial lifting solutions, providing OSHA-compliant inspections, maintenance, repairs, and aftermarket services for overhead cranes and hoists. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform OSHA compliance inspections, preventive maintenance, and repairs on cranes and hoists
  • Diagnose, recondition, and service both electrical and mechanical lifting equipment
  • Work in diverse environments, including heights, extreme temperatures, and noisy locations (this role involves physical tasks such as standing, walking, sitting, and lifting 50–100 lbs)
  • Communicate safety concerns or major discrepancies to customers
  • Maintain positive, professional relationships with customers and team members to ensure excellent customer service

Qualifications

  • Strong mechanical and electrical background preferred (candidates with experience as Aviation Technicians or Machinist Mates often excel in this role)
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills, with the ability to work independently
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; 
  • Personal hand tools and a meter required

Not Required but Preferred

  • Previous experience as a crane technician 
  • Familiarity with federal, state, and local codes for overhead lifting equipment
