Overview

Location: Corpus Christi, TX (Relocation required)

We're hiring a Shift Electrician to address trouble calls and work closely with the Operations Team to resolve issues and maintain production timelines. You will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical, instrumentation, programming, and automation systems.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct emergency electrical repairs and troubleshoot programming/automation to ensure uninterrupted production line operation.

  • Respond promptly to trouble calls and perform preventative maintenance tasks to uphold production efficiency.

  • Collaborate with Operations to resolve electrical and automation issues.

  • Utilize software applications to troubleshoot Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs).

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in troubleshooting Motor Controller Cabinets, Pressure, Flow, and Temperature Instrumentation, and Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs).

  • Outstanding safety and attendance record.

  • Strong background in using test equipment such as Multimeters (Flukes), O’scopes, and Profibus Addresser.

  • Military experience, civilian certifications, or a technical degree in automation/control circuits, with extensive experience in power distribution.

  • Proficiency in TIA Portal/Step 7/LogiCAD/XPact preferred.

  • Exceptional communication skills.

  • Prior experience with overhead bridge cranes is advantageous.

Shifts

  • 4 on 4 off work schedule with 12-hour shifts.

  • Ability to work nights and weekends is required.
