Fire Alarm and Security Technicians

Full Time with Competitive Pay

We are seeking NICET certified Fire, Alarm, and Security Technicians to join our expanding team! You will be responsible for the installation, troubleshooting, servicing, and repair of fire alarm and security systems, as well as other fire and life safety products.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain a comprehensive understanding of fire alarm codes and standards.
  • Repair or replace damaged fire alarm components such as FACP, power supply, and alarm-initiating devices.
  • Troubleshoot to identify faults, including ground faults, in fire alarm systems.
  • Utilize required tools and test equipment (e.g., multi-meter, megger, laptop for programming, lifts) to repair or replace fire alarm and suppression system components.
  • Demonstrate programming and software proficiency with various fire alarm systems for component removal or replacement.
  • Complete documentation on work orders.
  • Maintain the cleanliness and proper maintenance of the company-provided vehicle as per company policies.
  • Be available for on-call status as required by location to handle emergency service requests.
  • Adhere to safety programs, policies, and procedures.
  • Attend seminars or training sessions periodically to stay updated on the latest technology, codes, and standards changes.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • NICET or state-specific certification.
  • 2 years of experience in the Fire Life Safety Industry.
  • Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
  • Ability to travel 90% of the time, locally.
