General Maintenance Technician

Immediate Hiring Need for General Maintenance

We are seeking skilled trades professionals for our General Maintenance team. We offer excellent training, opportunities for growth, and promotions within the company. As part of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for repairing equipment, maintaining grounds, fencing, and building facilities. You will need to read and understand technical drawings, and repair, maintain, and troubleshoot equipment, including pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical systems.

Responsibilities:

• Perform maintenance, repairs, and preventative maintenance on equipment and building facilities.
• Complete repairs promptly, following established policies and procedures.
• Use the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to record work history, track parts usage, and identify warranties efficiently.
• Adhere to company safety protocols, including the use of eye and ear protection and protective footwear.
• Operate motor vehicles and other large power equipment.
• Use crossovers to access opposite sides of conveyors.
• Write documents and reports using a writing instrument or computer.

Qualifications 

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in industrial maintenance, working with electrical, electronics, and mechanical equipment (e.g., forklifts, conveyors, building equipment, automated equipment) or equivalent military experience.
• Proficiency in reading blueprints, schematics, and equipment manuals. 

Not Required but Our Ideal Candidate Would Have:

• Course work or certification in welding, electrical, or mechanical automation
