Field Service Technician
We are seeking a Field Service Technician to work on industrial equipment mechanics at customer sites and in a shop environment. The role involves troubleshooting electro-mechanical problems, performing installations, unscheduled repairs, and scheduled maintenance on industrial equipment. The ideal candidate will excel in customer service and thrive in a team environment.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze customer equipment breakdowns and recommend corrective actions
- Perform major repairs and overhauls on industrial forklift equipment
- Conduct scheduled maintenance on forklift and industrial equipment
- Provide superior customer service
- Demonstrate mechanical and electrical proficiency
- Effectively use volt, ohm, and multimeters, as well as personal hand tools, grinders, pressers, and forklifts
- Read and interpret schematics and manuals
- Maintain a customer-focused approach with strong communication skills to deliver professional and comprehensive equipment service
- Work independently and as part of a team
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of mechanical experience
- 2+ years of electrical experience
- Ability to read blueprints and schematics
- Availability to travel Monday through Friday
Preferred:
- Associate’s Degree in a Technical Field or Military Experience
