Overview

Immediate Hiring Need for a Field Service Technician

Travel Monday-Friday



We are looking for a skilled electromechanical Field Service Technician to join our growing team.  You will leverage your customer communication skills and mechanical/electrical knowledge to address complex technical issues. Your responsibilities include diagnosing, troubleshooting, modifying, and testing these tool. Travel is primarily within the US, with occasional international assignments. We take pride in training individuals for successful careers in the assembly industry and maintaining strong customer relationships.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Travel to customer sites to diagnose complex technical problems, perform on-site repairs, and conduct preventative maintenance
  • Disassemble and rebuild tools as needed
  • Troubleshoot technical issues via telephone
  • Maintain professional communication with customers
  • Interpret schematics and block diagrams to analyze problems
  • Document product issues and resolutions in detail

 

Qualifications:

  • Ability to troubleshoot and repair mechanical problems (servo motors, bearings, gearing, ball screws, and various way-moving systems)
  • Familiarity with mechanical measurement and inspection techniques (indicators, micrometers, and calipers).
  • Experience with electrical measurement and calibration techniques (voltmeter, oscilloscope, etc.)
  • Working knowledge of fastening and assembly processes
  • Proficiency in using basic hand tools
  • Familiarity with Windows operating systems
  • Comfort with handling abrasive chemicals for cleaning parts
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills

 

Not Required But Our Ideal Candidate Would Have:

  • Associates or technical in a technical field
  • Background in field service
  • General understanding of PLCs and pneumatics (preferred but not required)
