We are looking for a skilled electromechanical technician to join our growing team.
Responsibilities
- Perform electrical and electronic repair and periodic maintenance on equipment.
- Repair and optimization of drive control systems, PLC control systems and other closed loop industrial control systems.
- Maintenance and repair of all electrical devices in the facility.
- Strong electrical knowledge of high and low voltage electrical systems, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, breakers and power distribution systems, motors, motor control equipment instrumentation, PLC's and AC/DC drive systems.
- Demonstrate a large aptitude for learning and will be taught (by classroom or experience) the more complex skills of the industry such as PLC programming and drive systems if they show theoretical knowledge and high work ethics.
- Understanding of mathematics (geometry, trigonometry)
Qualifications
- Must be open to working in a hot environment
- Must be able to work at heights
- Experience with motors, gear boxes, drive trains, and shafts
- Troubleshooting and theoretical knowledge of Variable Frequency Drives (VFD)
- Proficient with specialized test equipment (i.e., PQM, Fluke 87, Profibus Addresser, Insulation Tester, Oscilloscope)
- Understand Electrical Theory (480-v systems)
- Experience working on overhead bridge cranes (preferred but not required)
- Shift work required
- Ability to multi-task & prioritize work assignments with production needs
Shifts:
- 4 on 4 off schedule
- Must be able to work weekends
- 12 hour shifts
- Day shift Only(6A to 6P)
