Immediate Hiring Need for a
Laser Cutting Head Field Service Technician
We are looking for a skilled electromechanical troubleshooter with outstanding customer service and attention to detail to join our Field Service team. You will utilize customer communication skills, and the mechanical and electrical knowledge to repair, troubleshoot, modify and test complex technical problems on products. We train the right people for a successful career in the machinery industry!
Responsibilities:
- Inspect machines mechanically and electrically
- Troubleshoot complex technical problems and perform on-site repair
- Dismantling machines and rebuilding as needed
- Evaluate technical problems and troubleshoot via phone
- Read schematics and block diagrams
- Create detailed reports on product problems and resolutions
Qualifications:
- Knowledge of machining and manufacturing processes
- Ability to use basic hand-tools
- Excellent oral and written communications skills
- Able to be comfortable working with heights
- Valid Driver’s License
Not Required but Our Ideal Candidate Would Have:
- Associates or technical degree preferred
- Experience in mechanical measurement (indicators, micrometers, and gage blocks)
- Experience with electrical measurement(voltmeter, oscilloscope, and other equipment)
- Experience repairing mechanical problems (ball screws and bearings)
Travel:
- Monday-Friday, home on weekends
- Field Service Technician will stay in hotels near customers site
