Field Service Technician

Immediate Hiring Need for a Steam Boiler Field Service Technician Primarily Local Travel - $30/HR Base 

We are looking for a skilled Field Service Technician. In this crucial role, you'll be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our clients' industrial steam boiler systems. This includes installation, maintenance, and repair of the boilers and their auxiliary equipment. You'll work alongside a team of experts to deliver exceptional service and contribute to the overall success of our projects.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose the cause of equipment malfunctions or failures 
• Use of monitoring and test equipment
• Disassemble, repair, and reassemble units 
• Train customers on equipment
• Clean boilers and auxiliary equipment
• Inspect and repair boiler fittings such as safety valves, regulators, and water columns
• Replace damaged boiler tubes and plates 
• Repair or replace high-pressure piping

Qualifications

• 3+ years boiler experience 
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to read blueprints 
• Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry. 

Not Required But Our Ideal Candidate Would Have

• Associates Degree in a technical field 
• Or military training and experience
