Wire/EDM Field Service Technician
100% Travel Monday-Friday
We are looking for a career minded technician to join our growing team. We are looking for someone who has the ability to travel Monday-Friday in a 100% travel position to troubleshoot complex technical issues on industrial machining equipment. Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot complex technical problems and perform on-site repair at customers location
- Dismantling and rebuilding machines as needed.
- Read and interpret schematics and block diagrams to analyze and troubleshoot problems
- Diagnose technical problems and troubleshoot via telephone
- Outstanding customer service skills
- Document in detail product problems and resolutions
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- 2 years experience with troubleshooting mechanical issues
- Ability to read mechanical drawings and wiring diagrams
- Excellent communication skills
- Extensive travel necessary, current valid drivers’ license required
- Ability to use Voltmeter, Multimeter, Micrometers, Calipers and Oscilloscope
Not Required But Our Ideal Candidate Would Have:
- CNC programming skills
- 2 year Technical Degree, or experience equivalent
- Military experience
