Overview

In this role, you will work to promptly address a diverse range of trouble calls and collaborate closely with the Operations Team to resolve issues and maintain production timelines. You will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical, instrumentation, programming, and automation systems.

 

Responsibilities

  • Conduct emergent electrical repairs, troubleshooting, and modifying programming/automation to ensure uninterrupted production line operation.
  • Respond promptly to trouble calls and perform preventative maintenance tasks to uphold production efficiency.
  • Collaborate effectively with Operations to address and resolve electrical and automation issues.
  • Utilize software applications to troubleshoot Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs).

 

Qualifications

  • Troubleshooting skills of Motor Controller Cabinets, and Pressure, Flow and Temperature Instrumentation, Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs)
  • Outstanding safety and attendance record.
  • Strong background in utilizing test equipment such as Multimeters (Flukes), O’scopes, and Profibus Addresser.
  • Military Experience, Civilian Certifications or Technical Degree in automation/control circuits, coupled with extensive experience in power distribution.
  • Proficiency in TIA Portal/Step 7/LogiCAD/XPact preferred.
  • Exceptional communication skills.
  • Prior experience with overhead bridge cranes is advantageous.

 

Shifts

  • 4 on 4 off work schedule with 12 hour shifts
  • The ability to work nights and weekends is required
