Industrial Sales Position Available with
Stong Salary & Commission Package and Regional Travel
We are looking for a talented Salesperson to join our team. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining customers and expanding our business and maintaining healthy customer relationships which is the cornerstone of success at our company.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop and build relationships with existing customers
- Look for new customers in assigned geographic area
- Respond to inquiries from customers to attain new business.
- Design new packaging products per industry design standards
- Write customer quotations including
- Product details
- Inside dimensions
- Special products required
- Pricing
- Estimated lead time
- Terms and conditions
- Write Factory Orders for new business
- Draw designs for difficult to understand designs
- Source nonstandard materials and provide pricing and part numbers
- Submit orders to customer service including
- Purchase Order number
- Due Date
- Delivery address
- Follow up
- After PO sent if there is no response
- After sales for customer satisfaction
OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Perform Vendor Managed Inventory counts at customer locations (as required)
- Support manufacturing team at customer site
- Packing of jobs
- Reviewing issues with customer orders
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum of five (5) years’ experience in an industrial sales role
- Mechanical aptitude.
- Able to perform skilled work of moderate difficulty. A high degree of initiative and creativity is required due to the complex nature of the situations/conditions of the position
- Must have the ability to work independently with little to no day-to-day supervision
- Effectively problem-solve, think clearly and positively in high-pressure, time-sensitive situations
- Meets deadlines and fulfills commitments.
- Exhibits enthusiasm and an ability to work cooperatively with others.
- Ability to communicate well with co-workers and customers. Ability to lead, direct, mentor and supervise team members.
- Exhibits care and strong attention to detail.
