Immediate Hiring Need for a Mechanical Engineer
We are looking for a skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our team. This position will report to the engineering manager and will work collaboratively with the applications engineering team. You will be responsible for mechanical design of industrial equipment in the food and beverage industry.
Responsibilities:
- Design mechanical assemblies and parts in SolidWorks
- Develop BOMs
- Collaborate with the Application Engineering team with improvement projects
- Use SolidWorks and other engineering software
- Customer service-understanding customer needs and developing engineering solutions
- Continuous improvement mindset
Qualifications:
- BSME or closely related field
- 3+ years of experience designing industrial equipment
- SolidWorks or other design software
- Understanding of welding, machining, and sheet metal forming
- Ability to work in a team environment
Not Required But Our Ideal Candidate Would Have:
- Experience with conveyor systems
- Work within the food and beverage industry
- Experience with automating workflows
