We are looking for a skilled Machinist in Bradenton, FL to join our team. The Machinist will work with mills, lathes, and drill presses.
Responsibilities:
- Reading blueprints and machine drawings
- Set up tooling on manual mills
- Operating and programming production work involving some close tolerances
- Stamping part numbers
- Inspecting machine parts to ensure they meet proper size, shape, or tolerance specs using micrometers and other measuring tools and devices;
- Performing routine maintenance;
Qualifications:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Mechanical aptitude
- 1-2 years of relevant machining experience
Not Required but Our Idea Candidate Would Have:
- Technical degree in machine tool technology or related field
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing or continuous improvement processes
- Veteran
