Field Service Technician
Full Time Position with Generous Benefits Package
$75-85K first year
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Install, service, and repair electromechanical equipment at various locations.
- Utilizes hand tools and test equipment, such as multimeters, to perform work.
- Communicate technical issues with the Engineering Department.
- Field train customers.
- Performs in house phone troubleshooting support to customers.
- Supports sales for product demonstrations.
- Provides a range of known solutions to problems.
- Innovates on the fly to resolve new and unique problems.
- May need to provide after-hours phone support.
- Extensive nationwide travel required.
- Build and maintain customer relationships.
- Performs other duties, as assigned by the manager.
- Able to book own travel with credit card (reimbursed weekly).
- Must live within 1 hour of a major airport.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience with industrial and commercial electrical systems.
- Knowledge or experience of industrial mechanical systems preferred, but not necessary.
- Expertise in company-supplied machinery with extensive training provided.
- Requires travel up to 100% of the time, inclusive of consecutive overnights, between 10-14 days.
- Ability to communicate problems accurately and propose effective solutions.
- Good organizational skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook and Excel.
