The Project Manager plans, directs, coordinates, and budgets projects for both national and international projects. Participates and leads the team through the design process of an actual project, using both internal and external resources. Responsible for the organization, scheduling and implementation of the projects. Build strong relationships with both the internal team and external customer while promoting quality services and positive relations. This individual would be responsible for qualifying and selecting subcontractors, overall management of subcontractors, scheduling, performance decisions, field construction oversight, developing and documenting the overall project method statements and SOP’s. Reports to the Director of Project Management. Knowledge of architecture/engineering/construction management; Ability to interpret blueprints, structural drawings, plan sets and construction specifications.
Proficient in Microsoft Suite: Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams. Knowledge of NetSuite a plus.
Strong leadership skills, positive attitude and a servant leadership mindset.
Excellent interpersonal/communication skills; Able to establish and maintain excellent relationships and credibility quickly; Ability to communicate effectively and tactfully (written and oral) with customers and stakeholders at all levels.
Well-rounded base of knowledge in construction disciplines.
Commercial construction management experience is required.
Establish, maintain, and manage schedules as they pertain to design, engineering, procurement, shipping and execution for multiple, and concurrent construction projects.
Responsible for controlling costs and maintaining profitability for each project.
Coordinates with architects, inspectors, and client/owners representatives to isolate project issues and assists in developing solutions.
Continually monitors project to assure company and regulatory procedures are adhered to. Monitors project purchasing activities to assure quality material and timely delivery at competitive costs.
Coordinates work with subcontractors to ensure all subcontract work is within project scope and specifications.
Manage field construction activity, engineering and other field project support activities.
