The objective of the Firearms Service Manager Gunsmith is to ensure timely, accurate and efficient firearms servicing to customers.
Ability to travel up to 25%.
Strong leadership and management skills required.
Extended knowledge of firearms service procedures.
Ability to work with machines and tools/hand tools.
Excellent customer relations & service skills.
Excellent communication and training skills, including understanding of various communications technologies available to promote effective and efficient communication and training.
High School Diploma required.
Master Gunsmith Certification preferred.
3+ years of experience successfully managing a customer service organization or combination of education and work experience.
Establish and maintain service objectives. Constantly monitor service objectives and take corrective action when service objectives are not being met.
Function as the Consumer Service Advocate to resolve issues between consumers and service centers.
Determine, develop, tailor and maintain the most effective and efficient service structure to support service objectives.
Ensure that service centers are sufficiently trained and certified to perform effective service functions.
Develop and maintain standardized procedures to ensure efficiency and consistency of service functions.
Oversee Service Center operations and ensure that all corporate functional requirements are accomplished
Assist the Gunsmith Team Leader in the management of the Service Center.
Travel to shoots/demo/service center visits as necessary.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Manual dexterity to perform intricate repairs.
Raising and transporting up to 50 pounds (boxes of guns, equipment, etc.).
Bending and reaching to obtain parts and products.
