Electronics Technicians work in a hands-on environment as members of cross-functional engineering teams – supporting the development of new products. They work closely with some of the best engineers in the industry and can be involved in the product development process from initial concept, through the development, testing, manufacturing, and support phases.
2 or 4 year Electronics Technology or equivalent Degree with a 3.0 GPA or higher
Familiarity with the fundamentals of electricity and basic wiring
Hands-on experience working with electronics preferred
Strong interest in testing, design, and troubleshooting
Strong organizational and problem solving skills
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Project work involves:
Extensive design verification testing of analog and digital circuits
Software testing including user interfaces and communication protocols
Hardware and software prototyping
Troubleshooting software, hardware, and network issues
Assisting in transitioning designs from engineering into manufacturing
Directly supporting end customers

Some of these technologies include: Power electronics, analog and digital electronics, wired and wireless communication, software test automation, Ethernet communication, and embedded micro-controllers.
