Overview

Engineering Lab Technician
Engineering Technicians work in a hands-on environment as members of cross-functional engineering teams supporting the development of new products. They work closely with some of the best engineers in the industry and are involved in the product development process from initial concept to development, testing, manufacturing, and support phases.
We are seeking engineering technicians to aid in the development and production of next generation products. Candidates for this position must have good hands on, organizational, and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities
Build and modify electronic and mechanical prototypes
Bench testing of analog and digital electronic circuits
Setup and perform product qualification testing in a laboratory setting
Aid in implementation of production fixturing and infrastructure
Development of test automation scripts for lab instruments and equipment

Qualifications

Skills and Qualifications
Associate degree in a technical field with 3.0+ GPA, 0 - 3 years of work experience
A strong sense of craftsmanship and pride in one’s work
Familiarity with soldering on SMT and through hole circuits
Hands-on experience working with electronic circuits and test equipment
Basic understanding of schematics or mechanical drawings
Familiarity with the fundamentals of electricity and basic wiring
Good written and oral communication skills
Good problem solving and organizational skills
Experience or knowledge of Python is a plus
