Paint/Assembly Supervisor

Job Locations US-WA-Vancouver


Job Purpose:


Supervises the manufacturing process in Paint/Assembly by directing staff to produce quality products within time and cost constraints.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Promotes and maintains safe work behaviors and organization in the paint/assembly areas (6S)
  • Executes Paint/Assembly production plan
  • Develops Paint/Assembly operations to improve productivity
  • Drives on time delivery to the customer
  • Ensures product quality and reduces scrap as well as rework
  • Communicates regularly with the Paint and Assembly department
  • Achieves financial objectives
  • Support internal and external customer service
  • Manages staff respectfully
  • Develops human resources
  • Leads the continuous improvement effort
  • Maintains professional and technical knowledge
  • Continues to team effort


  • Proficient in Movex, Vault, and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook)
  • Excellent organizational, interpersonal communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Strong technical aptitude; ability to read blueprints and understand manufacturing processes with a high attention to detail
  • Advanced management and leadership skills; has the ability to inspire and motivate staff
  • Experience with analyzing job results and planning workflow


  • High School diploma or equivalent required
  • Associate’s degree or vocational or technical school degree in Business/Accounting preferred
  • 1 to 3 years supervisory experience
