Overview

Industry-leading capillary mats and irrigation systems for growers, big box home stores, and other plant retailers.  Company patent-pending systems helps customers reduce water use, improve plant quality and sales while reducing labor costs. This year company deployed irrigated mats at nearly 3,700 big box store garden centers throughout the US, and our systems are also being evaluated by other big box stores and major growers are the country.

We are currently seeking Regional Field Support Managers, who will be responsible for:

  • Customer satisfaction at each Walmart (and other customers) within their region
  • Train customers, grower personnel and other third parties on proper installation, operation, maintenance, cleaning and disassembly of all systems
  • Managing or overseeing installation of new mats and irrigation at big box retailers, independent garden centers and growers
  • Assessing and troubleshooting irrigation system problems and communicating solution to customers and contractors
  • Developing strong, strategic relationships with existing customers and partners by frequent visits and electronic communication
  • Communicate to customers the performance of various containers and plants on the systems
  • Deliver value proposition of all products to customers, partners and prospects
  • Supporting sales teams by conducting product demonstrations as required

 Qualified individuals will possess the following attributes:

  • 6-8+ years field support/service experience, with an emphasis on direct contact with customers
  • Experience in the horticulture industry a plus
  • Irrigation experience a significant plus
  • Ability to quickly learn basic concept of irrigation techniques for all products for nurseries and retails outlets, including capillary action of products
  • Ability to work autonomously on the following:

o    Customer services and scheduling maintenance or installation trips to repair products

o    The installation, repair and oversight of installation of all products including supervision of other outside contractors

o    Train customers and their contractors on installation and watering techniques

o    Repair and troubleshooting systems without supervision

  • Desire to work in an environment that rewards strong ethical standards and conduct
  • Strong communicator and strategic thinker
  • Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year College or technical school; or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience Microsoft Office Suite preferred.  Be proficient with smart phone use, email and other basic applications
  • Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds.  At times this position will also require working more than 10 hours in a day in order to complete installations in the given time frame
  • Heavy travel (50%) required
  • Strong preference for military veterans
