As a Regional Installation Supervisor leading a team of five to ten Field Technicians, you will work closely with our customers and all of our internal resources to ensure the successful installation of new machines. You will travel within your determined territory approximately 10% of the time.
Be involved in the setup of machines to ensure readiness of machines for demonstrations.
Fully understand what the end result of the demonstration is meant to be.
Choose the best qualified Technician to conduct the demonstration.
Understand that each contact with a customer should result in a better relationship with that customer.
“Take care” of the Technicians that work for you even if they are not asking for it.
Fully understand the capabilities, strengths and weaknesses of all Technicians.
Determine training plans for your Technicians, assist in hiring process.
Provide continuous feedback to the Technician regarding performance. Celebrate their success.
Desire to provide the best possible service to our customers.
Excellent telephone communication skills.
Electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic and mechanical expertise.
Very detailed recordkeeping and follow up.
Prior experience leading a team of five to ten remotely based technical people as well as experience creating detailed written plans and then executing them. Experience working with food equipment is a desirable plus.
