As a Regional Repair Service Supervisor leading a team of five to ten Field Technicians, you will work closely with our customers and all of our internal resources to ensure the successful repair of installed machines at customer locations. You will travel within your determined territory approximately 10% of the time.
Excellent telephone communication skills.
Electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic and mechanical expertise.
Outstanding troubleshooting ability.
Prior experience leading a team of five to ten remotely based technical people as well as experience helping customers over the phone. Experience working with food equipment is a desirable plus.
Attempt to solve all service issues over the phone.
Fully understand what needs to be done on every service visit.
Choose the best qualified Technician to conduct the service.
Ensure that all service issues are dealt with in a timely manner.
Understand that each contact with a customer should result in a better relationship with that customer.
“Take care” of the Technicians that work for you even if they are not asking for it.
Fully understand the capabilities, strengths and weaknesses of all Technicians.
Determine training plans for your Technicians, assist in hiring process.
Provide continuous feedback to the Technician regarding performance. Celebrate their success.
