We are seeking a Customer Service Engineer for our growing team! The Customer Service Engineer (CSE) position provides a variety of vital services to our current customers including preventative maintenance, system audits, upgrades, and emergency repairs of our sortation and conveyor systems. They will also gather data utilizing specific reports and procedures, and supply various forms and custom reports to the customer to assist in sales of parts and service contracts. As necessary, they will assist with the field training of new employees and may receive in-house assignments covering technical support, training, or documentation.
Applicant must be proficient in PLC programming, hands on test on PLC programming will be given during the interview. Applicant must be familiar with object oriented programming, hands on test on FactoryTalk View will be given during the interview.
Min 2 years’ experience in maintenance and/or installation of conveyors or similar type equipment
Min 2 years in electrical and mechanical troubleshooting.
AS Technical degree or equivalent in experience for education.
Familiarity with MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook and report generating.
Proven customer communication and satisfaction skills.
Experience with PLCs or conveyor controls required.
Willingness to travel 75-90%+ locally and nationwide.
