Overview

Construct new roofs re-roof, and complete repairs on commercial/industrial roofing projects. Wide-range of roofing projects including single ply’s EPDM, TPO, PVC , Built-up, Modified Roof Systems, Metal and Roof Coatings.

 

Qualifications

EDUCATION

High School Diploma preferred but not required.

 

EXPERIENCE

 

2+ years roofing experience preferred

 

LANGUAGE SKILLS:

 

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.  Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.  Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.

 

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:

 

Basic Skills:  Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.  Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.

 

REASONING ABILITY:

 

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.  Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

 

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:

 

10 Hour OSHA Card preferred but not required

Responsibilities

  • 2 years of commercial low-sloped roofing prior experience preferred but not required
  • Strong Problem Solving and Analytical skills
  • 18 years of age or older,
  • Able to lift 50 lbs. on a consistent basis
  • Able to climb up and down ladders to minimum heights of 25 feet,
  • Valid driver license and reliable transportation
  • Able to work Saturday and/or Sunday, if needed
  • Authorized to work in the United States,
  • Must pass a pre-employment drug test.
  • Hard working and punctual individual
  • Willing to be trained and practice safety regulations for roofing
  • A Valid Driver's License or Reliable Transportation
  • Ability to Climb up and down Ladders
  • May be required to travel out of state
  • A TEAM player
